This high-profile stop-motion music video breathed new life into the classic George Harrison track, “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth).” I spearheaded the entire VFX and compositing post-production pipeline as the VFX Lead , transforming raw frame-by-frame animation into a cinematic visual experience that honoured the legacy of the legendary artist.
As the lead for the visual effects process, I managed the technical execution from “clean plate” to final render, ensuring every frame met the high standards of a global music release.
Look Development & Compositing: Pulled together the overall visual “soul” of the video, using advanced compositing techniques to blend tactile stop-motion elements with a dreamy, atmospheric aesthetic.
Rig Removal & Clean-up: Executed complex digital removals of all animation rigs, seamlessly reconstructing textures and lighting to maintain the illusion of gravity-defying movement.
Background & Asset Creation: Integrated painted backgrounds and physical environment extensions that expanded the physical sets into a vast, cohesive world.
Asset Database Management: Developed and maintained a comprehensive asset database to ensure visual consistency across various shots and sequences, streamlining the workflow for a highly detailed production.
